2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by VoltPath Electrical are obligation-free unless otherwise agreed in writing. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of assessment. If additional work is required once a job has commenced due to unforeseen circumstances — such as concealed wiring issues, structural complications, or changes to the scope of work — we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised price for your approval.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
3. Acceptance of Work
Acceptance of a quote, whether verbal or written, constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Work will not commence until a quote has been accepted and any required deposit has been received, where applicable.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing before commencement. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, and card.
For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. The deposit amount will be outlined in your quote.
Invoices that remain unpaid after 14 days may incur a late payment fee. VoltPath Electrical reserves the right to recover any outstanding amounts, including reasonable debt collection costs.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover the cost of time and materials already allocated to your job. This fee will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
6. Warranty and Workmanship Guarantee
All electrical work carried out by VoltPath Electrical is guaranteed against defects in workmanship. If you experience any issue directly related to our work, contact us within a reasonable timeframe, and we will return to rectify it at no additional cost.
This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, modification, or interference by a third party
Issues arising from pre-existing faults unrelated to our work
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by power surges, flooding, or other external events
Manufacturer warranties apply to any materials and equipment supplied by VoltPath Electrical.
7. Customer Responsibilities
To enable us to carry out work safely and efficiently, you agree to:
Provide safe and clear access to the work area
Disclose any known hazards, asbestos, or pre-existing electrical issues before commencement
Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area during the job
Ensure an authorised adult is present at the property during the work
VoltPath Electrical reserves the right to cease work if the site is deemed unsafe, and may charge for time already spent on site.
8. Liability
VoltPath Electrical holds public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from our services beyond what is required under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
